Who is the target audience? Why?
The target audience is men because of the harsh and violent gameplay and the age range would be 15+ even though its an 18 because of the dark humor

After playing, why is Rockstar so successful?
Their games allow the gamer to perform activities they would not be able to perform in real life eg; killing people

Controversial Elements?
Violence, encourages crime

Grand Theft Auto: Vice City

Men because of the violence and crime

After playing, why is Rockstar so successful?
Violence, Dark humor, allows gamer to do things they can not in real life

Controversial Elements?
Violence,Prostitution, Guns

Red Dead Revolver
Shoot-em up
Male, slightly older then teens because its to do with cowboys and this is an out dated interest in young boys
Its successful because it appeals to a different audience of an older age.
Quite grousome, you are in control of someone with a gun and shooting others, even though they are the "baddies"

Canis Canem Edit

Aimed at younger boys, 12+ as it is around the same age as the character you play
Successful because it appeals to a younger audience and is seen as controversial because your playing a bully
Controversial because you are carrying out actions of a bully and it glamorizes bullying.

Rockstar Table Tennis

Everyone at any age/sex but it is a more mature game
Successful as it has character male and female so people can play it and feel part of the game rather then having a typical male character. It is also successful because its a two player game.
The game is not very controversial as it is realistic as all you are doing is playing table tennis

Appeals to older males at all ages
Successful because it incorperates driving with violence which are both popular in the gaming world
Controversial because it can be seen as influencing people to drive fast and break the law.
